It's not really rude or not rude. It's just a high-five. Why say no, it's not bad. Just do it, it takes 2 seconds. If you want to be a good and nice person, just do it, even if you don't want to. Someone could get offended. And it could hurt someone's feelings. You never know. Just take my advice. And good luck to you!

Yes! That sounds snobby and harsh. What harm does a high-five have? None. If you are worried about germs, wash your hands or carry hand sanitizer!

dude seriously, its one second, unless it will be severly painful, its one second. get it over with. it will be more embarrasing and time consuming to object and cause a scene.
