I think they would be too easy for people to get their names mixed up. Also they may get teased by the kids at school??
I do like the names though, just not for brothers.

I dont think its a good idea as the boys will get annoyed at people getting their name wrong calling them Jason instead of Mason etc. This happens with my two nieces whi have similar names. Maybe try the same first letter but make sure it sounds completely different like Mason and Matthew or Mason and Martin. Just a suggestion.
(can i have 10 points lol)

I think it sounds a bit corny. However, I do have 2 sons as well and their names are Evan and Ian (pronounced ee-in). I thought it sounded a bit corny too,and too "brotherish" but we really really liked the name Ian, so we went with it. You have to think ahead too, they won't be "mason and jason" forever. They will grow up and move apart, etc.....but those childhood days can have an impact. In the end I think Mason and Jason are a bit too close. Evan and Ian are close, but not that close. Decide what you think is best!! Good Luck!!

I am afraid that it is too much. It sounds silly, and the names are just too similar. Kids have enough sibling rivalry without even having their own names.
I would choose another name you like and use Jason as a middle name.

I personally think it is kind of corny, however, my husband would think it was awesome. He wants to name our kids Daisy and Maisie.
I think they should have different names, it will help them be more individual people, instead of a unit. If that makes any sense.
Good luck!

i dont think that it is silly at all
i actually have a friend that is named monique and her sisters name is angelique
so its normal you wont be the first to have done the ryming name for your kids :)
i would do that too if i had another girl and could think of a name that i actually liked and it rymed
good luck and dont go by what people think and say> its your kids and its not like you are naming them a ridiculous and funny name >you know?>
and i do not think you ould confuse the two
come on youre not 60 years old!
:>
good luck and best wishes
