I wish I could remember all the beautiful moments of my life. I wish my eyes could be used like cameras, so I could take a still, from my own personal perspective even, of the first time I saw my kids, the first time I realized my Grandmother and I could be friends, the special men I have been delighted and priviledged to know and the beautiful women who make my life bright. So many things...

when i was moving out of my grandparents house and in with my dad who is 8 hrs away so I coud go to college the next year and get instate tuition, my grandma gave me a small notebook with a lighthouse on the front. inside she had written inspirational quotes that she liked and just inspirational paragraphs from her. she also wrote pages of helpful advice such as how to fix a leaky faucet and how to budget and everything else i could possibly need and then she passed the book around to other family members who also wrote advice or whatever they wanted in it for me.
