We have more than enough oil in Alaska. We wont use it because a minority of people worry about inconvieving a few polor bears. We must make ourselves as oil independent as possible, and anybody who can't stand that that is free to leave.

I don't think there are many polar bears in Alaska.
Then again, all those people buying MPG friendly Toyotas, Hondas, Kia's. You're using less foriegn oil, but those aren't exaclty American cars so it's sort of a trade off. How bout we work to become less dependent on OIL, regardless of where it comes from.

Yes. It's ludicrous. A couple polar bears and a few reindeer. Includes more drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, and slant oil drilling under Lake Michigan.

That is a ridiculous question ,What needs to happen is find alternatives to oil.We have this addiction to it.It is a finate resource and is going to run out. What then?As for the polar bears,at what point do we say enough is enough. We cant just keep endangering other species because it suits us

I haven't gotten sick yet. But I think I have a fever. Maybe we could name a Polar Bear Muhammad?

Granola-eaters won't let us drill, explore, transport or refine.

In Arizona, they've been building a refinery for almost 20 years. Can't get past the regulations.

Absolutely!....why haven't we found other alternatives and endorsed them better? I think this is our own selfish fault for not speaking out sooner and learning to deal with a few sacrifices while we improve our methods of fuel.

Where do you get your numbers from? I do not believe that we have enough oil even if we had the means to get it out and refine it.

Yup, you're right.

We have oil, we have coal, we have nuclear, solar and wind capabilities. We also have that NIMBY mentality, and a bunch of mouth-breathing, drooling fools who like to hug trees and worship AlGore.

We've got to start taking care of business. Now.
