Dell is good name for a boy laptop! Same as mine! lol! Della or Delilah if it was a girl....
You could make it short for Delaney or Delbert.
Edit: Queen B: Palpot reminds me of the dictator Pol Pot who was the leader of the Communist Party that ruled Cambodia and led the Cambodian genocide from 1976-1979. Evil, evil guy, if ever there was one. Right up there with Hitler.

I'm sticking with Dell, personally. ;) It's a good name for any laptop. LOL
Of course, you might opt for something longer, for those formal occasions. Odell, Mendel, Delwyn (not if it's a dark color, though ... means "pretty and white" LOL), Delaney, Fidel or Fidelis (means "faithful," which bodes well in terms of usage LOL). Cordell also comes to mind, but maybe the "cord" bit is a tad unfitting for a laptop. ;)

I think it's strange to name a laptop...but I think it's strange to name cars too....so maybe it's just me. Anyway, I think Carrie is a good name. Or Scooter if it's a male?
