I think putting Prozac in the city water systems would be more realistic.

How about a mind control micro-chip to control every thought and decisions we make? Aside from mind control, there is no way for us to insure that nobody will ever commit suicide. As far as human nature goes....we can never change our nature, it's what we are. But, we can influence the choices we make. IT IS possible for us to prevent suicide if we acted upon the goodwill of humanity, but not probable. I can personally see that committing suicide could be for the goodwill of humanity. Think about it, I know you can come up with a scenario in which committing suicide would be for the goodwill of humanity. There are too many circumstances and factors involved in making any decision. Especially, suicide!

that's a pretty naive perspective. Many people commit suicide because of personal, psychological reasons; mental instability; or even just the lack of a drive to live. Hunter S. Thompson committed suicide because he simply did not want to live anymore. There are more reasons to suicide than just negative outside circumstances.

Instant self-esteem pills. There are so many factors that go into someone's decision to commit suicide. Goodwill isn't a cure for all of them.

I believe that there always will be evidence, that someone committed suicide. There has to be facts of why that person committed suicide, and we seem to be doing a good amount of investigation after a suicide act took place.

simply, find ways to make people pleased and have the fair attention as much as possible. orient them with what is really important in life. See Abraham Maslow's Hierachy of needs for a theoretical interpretation. Also see, theory of interest by Albion Small.

If someone wants to commit suicide, that is their own choice and not anyone else's. I encourage you to read the jelly donut parable:

Say something kind, or neutral, when you really want to tell her that she is worthless.
It won't stop all suicide, but it certainly could prevent one.
