Try soaking them with wintergreen rubbing alcohol.
If you put the alcohol into a spray bottle and spray them, or just put them in your sink with the alcohol and some water and let then sit.
If you soak them your going to want to stuff them with paper towels after so they dry

Once shoes start to smell, you really need new ones. They might temporarily smell better, but its not permanent. When my fiance buys inexpensive shoes, they always end up smelling. Try buying a nice shoe with good leather. Spend a little more and have them longer.

It depends on what kind of shoes they are, but most shoes can be put in the washer. Wash them, and then use febreeze, and as mentioned by another answerer odor eaters work wonders. HOPE THIS HELPS!

Try Bounce sheets. They work like magic and take the smell out. It requires no spraying or washing or drying time. You can put the sheets in overnight and just take them out when you're ready to put your feet in. Good luck!

maybe you can try to wash them with tide joyful expressions. That's the pink bottle. just don't dry them because they may curl up at the toes depending on what brand of shoes it is. I tried that with my cousins shoes and now i don't have to run out of the room every time he takes his shoes off.

put em in a big zip lock bag and put them in the freezer overnight. might need to use one bag per shoe. freezing them kills that bad smell bacteria/germs. saw it on a talk show.

my coach once told me that you can put them in a pillowcase and wash them.. haha its weird but it works! the pillowcase protects the shoes from too much damage.. febreeze DEFINATELY doesnt work.. it just mixes with the odor and its disgusting..
