Our Government is divided into three branches designed to separate the powers of government and prevent abuse of those powers.
The Legislative branch consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Their job is to make the laws.
The executive branch is led by the President and it is his responsibility to enforce the laws.
The judicial branch is headed by the Supreme Court and it is their job to determine the meaning of legal issues based on the laws. (Interpret the law.)

My editorial comment: All Judges are Lawyers, as they should be. Most Senators and Representatives are Lawyers. (A questionable situation.). If the President is a Lawyer, do we still have three separate branches of Government? I doubt it! I think it is time to pass a ruling that a Lawyer may NOT be allowed to be a candidate for, or hold the office of the President of the United States.
