It's a dairy product and should be refrigerated after you open it and used within 6 months to get the best from it .If it's been kept cool it shouldn't do you any harm but the taste will be impaired.Take a sip and see what it's like and you be the judge.It's recommended that an unopened bottle should be drunk within 1 year.

As long as you keep it refrigerated it should be fine.
When bailey's goes bad it curdles.(just like milk) If the expiration date is close but the cream has not curdled it has not gone bad.
