It depends.

Chlorine evaporates at about 37C. This is why it disappears if you leave the water sitting for a while.

If you boil it in a jug with the lid on and let if cool in the same jug, it may get back into the water. (not sure on this one though(.

You would think so.

But I just tried it, and apparently not. Or at least not a quick boil.

You might get some OTO from a pool supply place and see how long a boil is required to outgas the chlorine.

Note: Better leave that fish water out for 3 days. My 'fish' guy says 1 day isn't enough.

I'm not so sure about boiling, but it you leave a bucket of water sit out for 24hrs, the chlorine will "go away." This is what I have done before cleaning out the fish tank....
