There are 6 billion people on the planet. I am willing to conjecture quite a few of them have never heard of global warming, much less care about it.

The best way to find this out is to ask everyone on the planet, then divide the number of people who care by 6 billion and then multiply by 100. There's your percentage.

They are too busy scraping by with their subsistence living standard.
