I can't stand Emma, Emily, Ava, Madison... any of the overused to 20 names... Hell, I hate the top 100. Hayden, Teagan, Kylie - get the point?
I personally like boy's names for girls. Several I have on my list are outright "boy" names. I have what used to be considered a male (and VERY infrequently used) name, and now it's becoming part of the trendy crap, which irritates the hell out of me.... I'm 34 and now there will be a bunch of 2 year olds walking around with the same name.
As for the resume statement... when I look at resumes, I look at qualifications. And since I hate the normal, everyday names, I'm much more likely to remember the name that's different rather than yet another one with the name Jennifer, Danielle or Andrea...

Wow! You already hit on quite a few of them. Aubrey, Jordan, Madison and Amber would certainly be on my own list. LOL I'd also add:
Nevaeh ... or worse, Neveah
Lacey (middle name Panties?)
Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn LOL
Misty
Taylor - besides the trendy crossover issue, I mentally hear "WHOOOO!" and picture a gray-haired fella every time LOL
Also, any contrived or completely redundant "play on words" sort of name, such as Heaven Leigh, Lily Rose, Scarlett Ruby, Booklyn Sky or Emma Leigh. And pretty much anything misspelled, especially if containing random capitalization and/or punctuation, or outright created -- Analease, Bri-anna, Nyta'Sha, Trey'Qua-shonda, etc.

I love you! I'm getting so frickin tired of people and there need to give their child stupid names because they are "unique". Who the hell cares if the name is unique? What is important is if the person is unique, and you cannot choose a persona for your child. Too many people seem to think that this gives their kid a better head start but seriously, it just confuses the rest of us and make us wonder what the hell were your parents thinking?? My current peeve is the stupid name with a worse spelling. Like naming your beautiful little girl Bailey and spelling it like Baiyleighey. Come on. Get over yourselves.

I used to think Paris was a wonderful name for a girl, until Paris Hilton came along and ruined it. And Britney, um, can we say Britney Spears?
How about naming your daughter Malaria? That's a deadly disease, right?
I think Emma is a nice name for a girl. But I'm guessing it makes you think of Baby Spice, and you hate the Spice Girls. In that case, I'm surprised to not see Melanie, Geri or Victoria on that list.

You forgot Nevaeh and any name that is spelled trendy. The parents think they are being "unique" but really it's the same trendy name spelled in a goofy way-Madisyn, Kamryn, Airika, etc.

Really? I always considered Amber, Emma and Hannah to be fairly common girl's names. You think they're trendy? I know people of all ages with those names.

I h8 those names too..the worst name for a girl in my opinion would be 'Brodie' ugh!
I also dislike Riley,amy,marie,addison,dakota,neveah [heaven spelled back],paige,Isabella & many more.
I cant understand the parents who think getting kreaytiffe with the spelling's will some how make the child unique its ridiculous,boring Emily is becoming Emuhleigh!
I do like certain unisex names that would be too feminine for a boy for example;
Taryn
Eden
Raven
Aideen
Erin
Tegan
Aren
But the names I like the most are unique & classy like;
Naida
Jasmin
Agnola
Indiana
Anita
Venice
Lila
Aliana
Telytha
Vevina

confident, the literary reference could be understood by maximum folk. i did not truly like the call in the beginning, yet i'm beginning as much as like it further and extra. it is not a undemanding call in any respect, and not previous shaped the two. Forgot to characteristic, Bronte isn't a terrible call, it rather is a effective call (:
