If you wanted to run away from everything--college, "friends", and everything else--and go to california to live and try to break into the adult film industry, how would you go about it?

You dont and stop living a pipe dream.Majority that go and try to live the California/Hollywood dream fail and lost everything including their own pride and integrity. Your best bet is to finish college and then try so you will have something to fallback on when all else fails. Good luck and Happy Holidays

Well you could become a hobo and ride the rails to California but I sure wouldn't recommend becoming a porno star. Having people see you as nothing more than boobs or a butt isn't going to do anything for your self-esteem and you'll feel more depressed than you are now. Go to the county health department or family doctor and see if you're suffering from clinical depression. Don't worry about any stigma of "being crazy" and taking meds, ask around and you'll find there's plenty of people doing so. If you are depressed, the right meds will let you see you and your life in an entirely different light. Good luck.
