yes,,,its about time!!! all the surrounding areas have gotten show but my area,,,, I say " if its going to be cold at least put some snow down so its beautiful,,(as long at the highways are dry for driving)"" let It Snow ,Let It Snow Let It Snow"

I'm west of Detroit, and no, I'm not enjoying the winter storm. I can't go anywhere! Now a dense fog has set in!
My dog loves it, she's dragging me around on the ice! Maybe I should just get a sled and let her take me on a run.
I should have gone grocery shopping earlier in the week.
Still, I love Michigan.

ITs 8:45p and it just started snowing about 6p
barely enough to make the road slick ....yet
but I am prepared with the snow shovel for the house sidewalks handy roadrunner ice melter sprinkled down , the snow shield cover for my car windshield on, the little snow shovel in the truck of my car , the #200 bags of salt in the trunk to add more weight ( rear wheel drive car)
new tires and wipers changed yesterday , deicer mixed in the windshield washer
candles and rechargeable lantern ready, sleeping bag handy- in case the power goes out
so I am ready

I love snow. I don't have any yet here in Southeast Missouri, but we'll get some later this month probably. I love the snow. It's so beautiful, especially to photograph.

Well, we are waiting for it here in NY. Supposed to start as snow and then change over to sleet at some point. At least its on a Sunday. I already picked up beer, chips and movies from Blockbuster.

I'm in the Westland/Livonia area. I wish summer would come. My poor animals want to go outside, but it's way too cold. (2 reptiles, tortoise/bearded dragon). I guess they have to wait until May.

I'm in Louisiana... we don't get cold storms here... but, I don't think I would like it tooo much, unless I got to stay at home from work!

i sure am too its really pretty out.
In grandrapids Mi --------- & brrr its freezing out here alot of snow .... just got done raining - waiting for the big snow to come tonight ***
