Since I have become a mother yes I have learned how to multi-task and have become good at it.

I think I'm pretty good at multi-tasking but just read an article which suggests that task-switching takes more time than it would for a person to stick with one task for a while, finish it, then move on to the next one. Multi-tasking seems such a part of our culture nowadays that anyone who denies its supremacy is seen as a heretic.

Have to be. I'm a 9-1-1 dispatcher. I'm so good I can put on make up, drink coffee and talk on the cell while doing 80 down the freeway.
