Yes. It causes hypnogognic paralysis. It's when my brain is awake but my body is asleep. It's the worst thing ever and I'm paralyzed for up to 2 hours. I generally sleep 1-3 hours a night.

I've had it for years, tried everything but sleeping tablets which I won't take and I've found nothing helps except a couple of glasses of wine on Friday nights.I refuse to drink every night just to get to sleep so I still suffer from it.

Yes. I battle it all the time. I have yet to figure out how to overcome it. If you figure it out, will you let me know?

Badly. I have a prescription pill to get me to sleep every night and it's not one of those television advertised ones either.

Yes,I've suffered from it all my life.

I used to take sleeping pills, but they can become addictive.

So what I try to do is go to bed at the same hour everyday, and avoid caffeine products after dinner.

I have had it. You should talk to your doctor because insomnia can be a side effect of another condition such as depression. If your doctor says it is nothing else, I have heard of people having wonderful results with some of the prescription sleep aids out there. I am pregnant right now, so those aren't an option, and I am taking Tylenol PM. It is doing the trick for now.
