i have a just about when to start the Pill...my doctor said to start it the first day of my period..but my period is really irregular..my appointment was in september..and my last period was in aug. So is it ok to start taking them now and just use another source of protection for like..the first month? or what?

You need to listen to your doctor, or call him up and ask him if you can start now.
