And how come they always redo the surface on some roads fifty million times & not the ones that really need it

I know this for a fact cos I used to live on a little dead end street in the middle of suburbia and they repaved that road three times and it was fine but the really bad roads they don't bother?

Different levels of government are responsible for the roads.
Chances are the little dead end was where somebody,
who had influence with the municipality, lived.
