Let him sleep with you. Put two sleepers and a hat on him.

Good suggestions to dress him warmly but only if the power goes out, don't overheat him!

Candles - sleep in the smallest room you have with blankets on the floor if need be and keep candles going. The bathroom is actually the best place for this as it is small and you're not likely to have many wooden surfaces. Placing a dozen or so candles in the bathtub and sleep on the floor next to the tub with the door closed will keep you toasty warm.

I went through this just last week when someone took out a hydro pole a couple streets over during a freak snow storm. It took them almost 4 hours to get the power back on. So we stayed and played and napped in the bathroom and stayed cozy warm.

i would dress him very warm and sleep maybe in a recliner and let him sleep on your chest covered up. That way even though you may not get as much rest you won't roll over on him or smother him with your blanket or pillow (that is what i always worried about with co sleeping) and you will still be able to rest but can share your body heat.
Good luck

Just remember that heat escapes from your feet and head. Keep several warm sleepers on him. Make sure they are not tight. Heat needs to circulate. Put him in bed with you. Make sure you keep your self warm also. God Bless and Good Luck

Make sure to keep him bundled up in a nice warm blanket sleeper and a hat. And then have him sleep with you. If you've got a gas oven then turn it on and leave the door open..anything to keep the temp in the house up.

Skin to skin with you as much as possible. Strap naked, diapered baby in sling under your shirt. Make sure you wear front buttoning shirts and sweaters to make sure he isn't smothered!

You will share your heat with him - and being skin to skin you will know for sure that he is warm enough (no cold fingers and toes) and not having to stress his own body and deplete his reserves to keep warm.

Best wishes!

Warm clothes with layers. Blankets on top of you and him and daddy. Put him in between you and daddy, body heat will do good.

Oh boy- a friend of ours is in your area from the sounds of it- have him sleep with you, use extra blankets and keep warm.

Good luck! You are in my prayers tonight!

Let him sleep with you at night, and carry him in your arms or a sling during the day. Your body heat will be best.
