do you know how to cook (not tv dinners, actually cook from scratch)? how old are you? is it weird if a 15 year old guy actually does know how to cook from scratch?

I am 23 and I do know how to cook from scratch. I learned at a young age. My grandmother and grandfather taught me.
And there is nothing wrong with a 15 year old boy knowing how to cook. I think it is a good thing.

I can cook some things from scratch but I do not have time to make complicated meals. I work and go to school. The fact that you know how to cook is an asset women will love... unless, you don't like women...but, guys will like it to.
I had a guy friend when I was in highschool who was great at baking and all his friends would take advantage of that because our moms didn't want to make us cookies, pies, or pastries any more and he did it from scratch. YUM!

i kind of know how to cook. i've been getting more inspired latlely. i recently made this dish that everyone loved. if i had to say yes or no, i would say no. cause i don't know how to cook much. i'm young though so i've got time to learn.
it's not weird if a 15 year old guy knows how to cook from scratch! it's cool! girls like that (if they're smart & have a pulse)

I was cooking from scratch at 15...my dad was Navy and my mom would on occasion head off to Iceland or wherever he was...so I fended for myself.
Let me tell you, dude...it's a marketable man skill when you're an adult in the dating years. When you can invite her to "come over and I'll cook us dinner" and have something impressive in mind...you've got a party piece.
I'm 39 now, and Mrs. Bill still oohs and aahs when I bust out with a Baked Alaska or chocolate mousse or a trifle or some other frou frou thing.

Yes I do, I'm 53 yrs. young. And no it's not weird for a 15 yr. old to be able to cook. My son learned when he was very young just by watching and helping me. And he's a better cook than me now.

honey, its not a bit weird that a 15 year old knows how to cook. its awesome and a great attribute for a young man! away with the old fashioned perception that women belong to the kitchen! my husband didn't know how to cook a thing and i think its so sad...

Yes , I know how to cook...in my thirties and learned how to cook by working as a cook for 5 years when I was younger. And no, it is not 'weird' for a 15 yo guy to know how to cook....it's admirable!

Sure do, yep still make my own egg noodles from scratch, 64. No I think its great for a 15 yr old to like to cook, think about going to college to become a chef, they make awesome money.

Yes, very well, but it was tough to learn at first. It is WONDERFUL for a 15 yr old guy to know how to cook! People love to eat & this is just a great way to care for them.
