Take everything out of your bank accounts and close them. Then reopen a new account with your name only.

File for divorce immediately, you can do that long distance by phone consultation with a lawyer in the state where you're from. The lawyer can fax you the papers to sign.

P.S. I'm assuming that you know for a fact, and have proof positive, that she is cheating on you.

omg that is so sad. I can't imagine you finding this out when you are so far away from home, I'm so sorry. Your actions at this point just depend on what you are planning on doing about the relationship. If you want to fix it and move on then she should come and deal with you face to face. If you do not feel that she is owed forgiveness than you need NOT worry about the financial implication that she has suffered by wasting money on a ticket... I mean, she's the one who cheated, so really don't feel bad about that!!

My husband and I are coming to Okinawa this april!! Other than the recent terrible news, do you like japan?? if you get time, send us a message about it erinleebrush@hotmail.com

Make sure that your sources are VERY reliable. Going through divorce is not something to step into lightly. I'd say start by blocking her from your money (just in case) and kick the ***** to the curb. No doubt that if she did it once and you let it slide, she WILL do it again. And after you've done the deed, DO NOT feel bad for her. She can obviously find some other meal ticket; she doesn't deserve you or your sympathy. <3 best of luck, mate. I hope things turn out for the best for you and thank you for serving our great nation.

First of all are you sure?
Have you spoke with her about it?
Maybe try to work out with her?
If so ...I am so so sorry !
What do you want? Do you love her OK so maybe you don't FEEL love right now but Love isn't just a feeling! Anyways do you think that you could forgive her ? Maybe consider couples counseling and go from there dont be too hasty to divorce, even though sometimes that happens.
best wishes to you and I want to thank you for serving our country..God Bless

Why is your wife cheating on you? Loneliness? Sexual frustration? Boredom? Deep dissatisfaction with your marriage?

Have her come see you in Okinawa and find out exactly what's driving her to this behavior. Your marriage may be salvageable. Good luck, soldier.

Thank you for trying to keep us safe and have a wonderful holiday. That's where my father was stationed when I was born on Christmas Eve almost 51 years ago. As for your wife, ask her if she wants to continue cheating on you or be with you. If she wants to continue cheating then let her go and you'll meet the woman that is meant to be in your life. let her come and talk to her, if she is cheating because she is lonely go back home, or have her come out and stay with you. if she knew that you were leaving for the military before you were married than she should have been prepared for you to leave. also, who told you that she was cheating?? is it even true, you're not there to verify it, so you really should let her come and visit you and then you can ask her face to face and then you'll know if she's lying to you

Being retired military, that's a tough call. If she decides to come see you, then it's time to clear the air. How much concrete proof do you have of the affair? If it's 2ND hand, check your source.

Forgive, love and pray for her let her make the decision. My wife and I were married our senior year in highschool and wanted to get married between our senior and junior year but her mother would not let us. We have been married 37 years it hasn't always been roses but it has been lots of giving and less taking to make it. It could only be done by the love and power of our Lord Jesus Christ

Good question that most of us are faced with. Pray Pray Pray

Talk to your JAG officer. They may be able to help you. Other wise get a lawer.
The next quesion is: do you want to work it out? Remember: Divorce hurts EVERBODY. The cost may be more than you can count (and I don't mean financally).
My prayers go out for you. And thank you for serving our country.
