= -√(25·2)
= -√(25)√(2)
= -5√(2)

if negative sign is outside radical, then

- √50

=> - √25*(2)

=> - √(5^2)*(2)

=> -5√2

if negative sign is inside the radical, then

√-50 = √(5i)^2 *(2)

=>5i√2

sqrt(-1)= i, the imaginary number
then sqrt(-50) = sqrt(-2x25) = 5 sqrt(2) i
