You are responsible and obligated to follow through and pay for items you've won in eBay auctions.
No one forced you to bid, if you couldn't afford to purchase them, you shouldn't have placed bids in the first place.
You won't be automatically charged for anything. It's up to you to pay for item using one of the payment methods the seller indicates they accept.
If you have PayPal account with credit card on file, you can use it to pay for the items and your card will be charged.
Which sounds like credit card through PayPal is the best option being you're indicating you do not have funds to pay for the items.

No, ebay or pay pal will not charge you for anything. I would contact the person who had the auction and explain that your kids got into of your computer and made the bids, and ask them if they would be so kind as to cancell the bid. You could try and talk to an ebay representative via the live on line chat form. I think its on the top right side of the ebay home page.

WOW. You will have to authorize payment with Paypal. They will not just take the money from your account. Bad think is, I believe three 'non pay bidder strikes', and you are suspended from Ebay. I would write to eight of the sellers that you cannot pay and explain what happened. Sometimes they are very understanding and will let you off the hook with no further action being taken against you, but mostly, they will be very angry that you did this to them. Bidding on an item is a contract.

You have to authorize payment through Paypal. If you don't pay for all of them though, you risk bad feedback from the sellers. I can't remember how many strikes you get but you can be suspended from using ebay if you get too many complaints about not paying.

Whooops... you screwed up. I have been in a similar situation but not as bad as yours. When you win a bid on ebay you are on the hook for it.
