Why are the Cowboys considered as "America's Team" ? Nothing against them or anything, cuz I became a major fan of theirs, and was just wonderin y they were called that...

LOL... okay here is the real answer... NFL flims did a documentry on the Cowboys way back in the day.. the Title of that feature was Dallas Cowboys - America's Team...
The name stuck...
Brett Favre, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven,
God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a

We have two Yankee boys from Boston in our office who came to Dallas for a job in the 80's when things got tough in Baston as they pronounce it, probably got tired of PAARKING KAIRS. Well, anyway all they do is put down Dallas and talk about the New England Patroits and one idiot even wears a Pats jersey on game day. Why are these people so obnoxious and ill mannered. Myself and coworkers have told them if they do not like Texas to haul their a??s back to New England, I believe Interstate 95 will get them back in 22 hours or less. Its makes me wish General Lee would have kept on fighting and not surrendered . Do any of you New Englanders have jobs for these jerks?

The dilemma as to who is Americas Team will forever be a dilemma. Im not really sure who "americas" team really is but according to a recent vote done by the NFL channel, majority of Americans said the Steelers were America's team.
personally, I could care less... All that matter is who win the SB at the end of the season....

They were the most watched on tv and, therefore, were most often show on tv and the marketing studies showed they were the most popular team and tom landry was the most popular coach for many, many years.
they are shooting up in popularity again. they are pretty popular now.
besides, willy nelson and waylon jennings sang cowboy songs and the tv show "dallas" was no. 1 etc etc.

1970s they were off the hook and winning all the time same inthe 1980s and embraced by the public that is how they got the title of Amer. Team.

They were named that because back in the 60's, they were clean cut and religious, played fair and always seemed to come up just short of winning the big one. Because of this, a lot of people liked them and they were named that and it stuck!
