My hair is very thin/fine and I'm really unhappy with its apparance. I'm still trying to figure out how can I help improve the thickness of my hair. Does my hair thinning have anything to do with the following factors? Firstly my mother has fairly thin and curly hair like me. Secondly, I've been under quite a lot of stress over the past few years for personal reasons. Thirdly, I am overweight. And I also still don't have a regular period. On top of all this, a few years ago I was on a course of roaccutane to treat my acne and the specialist said one of the side effects was thinning of the hair and drying out of the skin but he said they would only be temporary. My skin is no longer dry but my hair is just not getting any better and I am concerned about my overall health and how it could be affecting my hair. I know this is alot of information, but my main question is, can my hair return to being thicker? Are there any miracle cures? What do you suggest to improve my hairs condition?
