As long as it's not too severe, it is normal. Of course, if you're concerned, you could call the doctor and see what they say.

Hi! Its very normal. I'm now 12 weeks, 2 days preg and have had cramps since the first week off and on. They range from extremely slight (almost can't feel them) to a little more intense. As the first poster said above, its your uterus growing to house the baby.

I just had an ultrasound a week and a half ago and everything turned out perfect for me. The baby's healthy and active, even though I've had these cramps. Just be concerned if you start bleeding bright red blood or have cramps as painful as period cramps. In that case, get examined as soon as possible.

You're fine with slight cramping. =)

Good luck!

As long as the cramps aren't too painful or accompanied by blood they are usually nothing to worry about. What I would suggest is contacting your midwife/dr and getting a check up to make sure your ok! I had cramping up until 12 weeks and my little girl is fine. Try not to worry to much and get checked on as soon as possible. If there is any sign of blood what so ever ring A&E/ER

Lol...its funny cause the whole time that i was pregnant with my kids, i had full blown periods. they never stopped. and my bestfriend had spotting her pregnancy too... but then she ended up having her baby 3 months early...so make sure your not having any blood..or hell just go to the doctor just to be sure.
