I would give a ride to a friend anywhere. I might pick up someone waiting for the bus in the pouring rain, because it rains really hard here. I would not pick up a hitchhiker, but I have given rides to people who are not expecting it - I figure they are surprised and do not have time to think up any mischief before I drop them off. LOL

I did once. This woman asked me for directions to a place that was straight a head but about 10 blocks up north. After I told her I had to stop at a red light and saw her walking in the sidewalk. I was going to pass the place she was going so I offer her a ride. I was very nervous while she was in the car even though she was a very nice lady :O)

It's all according to the situation. If I came up on a woman and her young children standing in the rain (or snow) and they had no way home then I would definitely give them a ride home. On the other hand if it were a man I would probably would not stop.

Did you hear about the time Garth Brooks was at his home town and he gave a lady a ride home who had arms full of groceries and small kids walking with her. So he pick her up and she doesnt recognize him and he gets to talking to her. Well , she didnt have a car and it was around Christmas several years ago. So he takes her home and goes to the local car dealership and buys her a car and has it delivered to her house/.

I don't trust people. So I wouldn't. But if it was my sister or something, of course I would. Even if in 30 years, and she was looking for a ride to Hollywood. Haha.

Right now, I immediate answer would be no. However, I do tend to feel alot of sympathy, so there is also a relatively small possibility that I would.
