I was, but am not now. They talked a good game and had some good stuff sometimes. A rather pessimistic lot usually.

I got bummed out on the Vaxgen thing. I bought in on the prospects of the AIDS vaccine. Then I thought the American gay activists torpedoed the results because they were mostly white and the vaccine seemed to work twice as well on Asians and twice as well still better on Africans. Then I found out that there were some questionable information and the Oxford Club stock picker seemed, important word, seemed a party to the shanegans. Shortly after that I was mentally disgusted (financially depleteded because I put far too much in on that play, but hey, if they were right this was a rocket to the moon), and Vaxgen was so embarrassed that they hardly want to admit that they did anything at all with AIDS.

At that time, though, steering my own course afterwards, I was personally doing better than a dummy portfolio tracking their subsequent recommendations. At that point, and this was a while back, I cancelled my membership since I no longer trusted them to be of any advantage to me.

Again, they do have some good stuff from time to time, but they aren't for everyone. They aren't for me anymore.
