im chairing at a model united nations conference next weekend, and i want to look professional but chic.
any ideas on outfits?
is it fashionable to wear black tights with a business suit?
because i heard black tights are in fashion..

Black tights or hose will be great - if the suit or shoes are black.
Be sure hair, makeup, and nails are 'done' - look professional.
Add earrings. Avoid any noisy bracelets. Wear a pin OR a necklace.
Drink water - your throat will get dry.

Actually this depends on what look you want to achieve. For example black tights say that your professional and you are older in class.
But no tights say that you are sexy and you actually bring that outfit from day to night.
I suggest wearing long black pants as it is trendy and professional.

NEVER WEAR TIGHTS WITH A SUIT. NEVER. It is absolutely WRONG in so many ways.
Honestly, just buy a nice suit with a skirt. Stuff like this isn't about looking trendy.

no black tights with a business suit.
plain stockings will look more professional.
since it's for the UN..keep it conservative & not trendy.
navy suit..black suit..silk blouse..strand of pearls.
in good taste hair & makeup.
you can wear a pantssuit if you wish..
try TJ Maxx .. Marshalls .. Loehmann's for bargains on suits

Colored or black tights are very cute with normal skirts and dresses, but they don't look quite right with business suits. If the tights were skin tone colored, they would be okay.
