I have read gold barbs are peaceful but they are getting increasingly confident about biting the gouramis' fins, are they playing, curious or aggressive?

they are a peaceful fish and are bottom middle dwellers they like a planted tank what size is your tank?

hey ryan,usually barbs pick on everyfish thats in the same tank, so its best to hav just barbs in your tank.

gold bards are aggressive.they even bite their own kind when hungry.
