People think i'm strange because i prefer to be alone, they all like to party in huge flocks and i usually decline any invitation to join them, and usually just hang out with my husband at home. Even he is getting frustrated with me for not joining him when he goes out to his friend's. He says everyone he knows barely knows me (including his family) and that's not the way it's supposed to be. I'll join him once in a while but it bores the hell out of me to sit around with a bunch of people getting drunk and talking. I'd rather be drunk at home playing on the comp or sleeping. I don't need the company of others everyday to keep happy, and i tried to be outgoing once but i just ran into more drama than what it was worth. Yet i still get comments on how unusual that is and how there must be something wrong with me? how is this strange?

You are probably the most normal person on this planet besides me and my wife, and i'm not looking 4 kudos or best answer, i just tell it like it is or i don't tell it . . .

what you wrote here couldn't contain more thruth if you looked for a passage from the bible . . . i think you found
the real meaning of the term, " appreciating life for what it
realy is " my wife and i are the same way, she does her
thing and i do mine and also we have our special moments,
is this bad or wrong, well we've been married 40 years going on 41 this dec 11th. still madly in love and yet still
treat each other as individuals, just letting us be us and yet
repspecting each others vows as husban and wife, and as for the world, she's my world.

as for what people say and how it's suppose to be, well from
what you just read above, do we qualify as bad? . . . lol.

hang in there and stick to your blue print 4 happiness not
the world, as 4 the hubby, well, u2 have 2 work that out. but as 4 the relatives? mine are all dead so i'm thankful i lived according to my blue print, who the hell listens to them any way, lol . . .

good luck . . . i'm going back 2 my cave . . . lol.

I don't see anything wrong with it. In fact, I think you just described me.
I just can't force myself to be fake and pretend I'm enjoying myself with a bunch of people I would prefer not to be around. Not that I don't like these people, I just don't like "hanging" out.

it is not to bad. You should be able to enjoy yourself at home but you should also enjoy being arround other people. Try finding other positive people to be arround, because it is not healty to stay at home all day and not be arround others
