The Gossip girls are supposed to be very good (don't talk down to teenagers) like sex and the city for teens.
Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic books are so much fun. Start with secret dreamworld of a shopaholic or confessions of a shopaholic.
Bridget Jones by Helen Fielding is always excellent, but you've probably already read that.
Marian Keyes is a good author too, but these books have slightly more serious issues in them.

I loved this book! It's got a very intriguing plot, and in each chapter, the character changes (the story is told by the characters point of view) I loved it! I've even read it twice!
Fell by: David Clement Davies

Have you read Nancy Drew? They are still great to read. Also, To Kill a Mockingbird. What about autobiographies? I loved to read Abe Lincoln and Anne Frank and about the Titanic. Good luck.

Heart on my Sleeve by Ellen Whittlinger is a really good book that deals with long distance relationships through email and getting ready to go to college and leave friends.
