What is the area of 5cm, 6cm,10cm, and 3cm. And How do you find it????
this is the shape:
5cm

l l _____
l__________l3cm
10 cm

The 6cm goes on the left side!( the one that is below the 5 cm and above the 10 cm)
The one that has ll_____ is supposed to be shifted over a bit so it lines up with the 5cm line and the 3 cm line!!

Your diagram is all messed up. Is it supposed to look like a letter "L" on its side?
If so, draw a line straight down from the right side of the 5cm side to make 2 rectangles the tall one is 5 by 6 or 30 square cm
the other is 5 by 3 or 15 square cm. Together 30 + 15 = 45 square cm

You have two rectangles there
5x6 and 5x3
so the total area is 30+15 = 45

The first guy has it right.
I know the formula is L x w=area
aka length times width.
