I personally have to pay additional taxes every year, so I could care less about refunds.

In my opinion if you rely on income tax refunds to make ends meet, then you have serious money issues.

Like Chi said, you wait an entire year for the refund, but yet, you are losing interest on that money.

You R an economic guru! LMAO...some people need to pick up the readers digest and learn how the average person MAKES money...

They do NOT loan it to the Government interest free. If you set up your taxes correctly, you should be able to invest that money throughout the year and EARN money on it!

Do y'all have Christmas Club Accounts too?

Sorry, I have been up all nite and I have feeling itchy.

Was Ron Paul elected already? No IRS? THe interest on that money alone could feed the planet. Why now? Or is it another political baffo vis the Democratic do zero 100 days and counting Congress? Personally I am sick of political wrangling at the expense of our nations interests. The positive ones, not the negative ... the IRS had help here beyond any Bushee complaint.

You're a real economics wonk, aren't you? The economy would suffer if you hold back refunds, because people mostly spend that money, which means commerce is healthy, and commerce is what capitalism is based on, and maybe you should find an advisor who can help you figure out how not to always have to pay additional taxes.

They'll probably get delay and never get, because it will go to fund the War ON Iraq and other American Misadventures.

While some people I know were going to use their refund to pay for child care, needed car repairs, pay off education loans, pay for additional college/training. Not luxury items. ******* like President Bush and his cabinet believe that a majority of the people will use it to buy luxury items.

Same here Bubba. I owe every year.

Anyone who receives more than a couple of hundred dollars in the form of tax refunds are doing themselves a serious disservice. They basically loaned the US and state governments a few thousand dollars interest free. Also, due to inflation, and interest bearing accounts they could have been paying, a $3000 refund has cost them $1000 dollars.

I rely on the refund but it is only so I can pay for my next vacation.

I definately won't be getting a refund so I don't care. I do know that many people rely on that refund every year which is somewhat irresponsible so I'm sure they will be upset.

That would be maddening to millions of Americans who depend on their tax refunds to buy essential items for their families. How very Republican to not care about something because it does not affect you personally.

Yes, I do.

Democrats don't care because they don't work and pay taxes, anyway.

Pelosi is just Playing to her Base. Welfare Democrats will love it that some Taxpayers will have to wait to get their refunds.

Most Democrats Hate Taxpayers.
