If you keep up with your work, then you don't need to cram for exams -- perhaps that is what they mean.

I've found that paying attention in class and doing the reading in a timely manner allowed me and allowed me to have lots of time for other things.

I never did math homework up until second and third years of college calculus. I would cover the night before 5 or 6 chapters of math and usually end up with a top grade.

In calculus i did homework with a calculator or copied just to get the homework points, and then covered 3-4 chapters the night b4 and still managed a top grade.

For some people, some topics just click. I still rarely study and usually just cram the night b4 the final, i only have finals these days with no points aside from the one exam.

The only thing i spend time doing is writing papers, i can do that over a few days period.

I always had a high IQ and never felt the need to study, i dont know if that makes inteligent or just lazy.

It depends on how difficult the work is. Some people spend hours on homework in elementary school, trying to grasp the concepts, while others may suddenly find that they have to study in college where the didn't before. Some people can get away without studying very much until they get into advanced graduate programs. In general, being intelligent means that you understand ideas more readily, so if a person were very intelligent, s/he wouldn't have to study as much as someone less intelligent.

I truly cannot study...if I don't learn my material in class through notes and lectures and my readings, looking over my notes for hours does not help me learn the material and usually is more frustrating than helpful. I never studied in grade or high school (other than for spelling tests because I do not spell well because I ever learned phonics) and now in my third year of college I look over my notes for a few minutes the night before or in class right before an exam.

I should also say I graduated 21 out of a class of 380 in high school (would have been higher but the AP classes didn't fit in my schedule to add points to my GPA) and I currently have a 3.6 GPA in college

haha that is a funny question!

I do not study, I learn, it is a diffrent thing. I have an honours degree and a postgraduate certificate and I've never studied, not in that way, I would normally rather die than sit with a book! (Oh I'm a teacher btw :D)

I am learning Japanese, i make up stickers and put them all over the house, I label things with their Japanese names, so whenever I see them I get a reminder... When I've learned something I tell people about it, that helps keep it fresh in my mind.

I say the best way is to gloss over the material at first so it less unfamiliar, then come up with your own learning techniques, whatever works for you personally... Like I find wrting things in different colours is good.

overview > in depth > rehearse > check your knowledge

The bottom line is if you're not interested in what you're learning you have no chance. Following my interests is no effort to me, I love it!

Personally I never studied for 99% of my exams. That other 1% I studied the night before/day of (i.e. cramming) because I didn't care or it was a massive amount of material.

For a long time I was your typical highly intelligent slacker. My HS grades were mostly A's, B's and C's. In college my GPA was a 3.4

I really didn't study much in either so...

I'm going to say it is TRUE.

the thought that all and sundry revealed reality is to be modern in "sixty six books" isn't basically not in Scripture, that's contradicted by utilising Scripture (a million Corinthians 11:2, 2 Thessalonians 2:15, 2 Thessalonians 3:6, a million Timothy 3:15, 2 Peter a million:20-21, 2 Peter 3:sixteen). that's a thought exceptional interior the previous testomony, the place the authority of people who sat on the Chair of Moses (Matthew 23:2-3) existed. as properly to this, for 4 hundred years, there became no defined canon of "Sacred Scripture" aside from the previous testomony; there became no "New testomony"; there became basically custom and non-canonical books and letters. Our Lord based a Church (Matthew sixteen:18-19), not a e book, which became to be the pillar and floor of reality (a million Timothy 3:15). we can comprehend what this Church teaches by utilising finding not basically at Sacred Scripture, yet into background and by utilising examining what the earliest Christians have written, what people who've sat on the Chair of Peter have spoken continuously with Scripture and custom, and what they have solemnly defined. To have self assurance that the Bible is our basically source of Christian reality is unbiblical and illogical.

Hehehe,

See, that's why they're intelligent. They study as much as possible the night before, then they tell you that they didn't study to intimidate you into thinking that you are stupider than they are. Then, when they get a brilliant score, and you barely pass, you feel like an idiot, have a lower self-esteem, and eliminate yourself from their academic competition.

How do I know???

I did it myself.
