i have not deleted one of my questions ever yet,y/a's has done that for me.however,i have deleted answers in the past only because of all the thumbs down i had received, now i don't care,i just leave them because this is a PUBLIC forum and we are all entitled to OUR own personal opinion and you can't please all the people all of the time.i could care less now from the few people who do not consider my opinion to be as important as their questions.i know who who they are and i now answer questions considering the source.this is in no way meant for you.i find you to be refreshing.

There are a few reasons why I might delete any of my questions. One is because I have received a ton of nasty answers to a question that was harmless. Another reason is because I think I might receive a violation notice due to the fact that it either doesn't post or for the fact that some people don't have a sense of humor and like to report. Another reason might be due to the fact that somebody who I haven't dealt with in terms of answering their questions and them answering my questions whether they are old friends or not starred my question without answering it as I feel that they might end up reporting the question and I don't want to risk the violation notices which lead up to my account being suspended. It's better to be safe then sorry nowadays. Oh and sometimes I'll delete a question due to the fact that I'm not getting the answer that I am looking for such as if it's a question that needs a specific answer that contains the information that I am looking for and I would like to know.

When I get very less answers (1 or 2) which are not to the point or uninformative or no answers at all. When I feel this question might have hurt the people that I love.

Edit: I forgot also when it is posted twice at the same time. It happens sometimes with the glitches on Y!As.

I deleted one of my questions today because I accidentally worded it wrong. I figure people may not check the question to see I had accidentally made a typographical error.

I was trying to ask "Are you going to watch SIU kick some serious rump today?"

But it came out as "Are you going to watch SIU lick some serious rump today?"

I immediately deleted it, and reworded it. Besides, the question I deleted sounds sooooo gross!

It's ok if you laugh at my typo! I got a sense of humor about it! I'll be laughing with you! :-))

If I don't get any answers within the first 30 minutes or so, I figure it's not a good one, so I delete it.

If I think it will end up as a violation I get rid of it before that happens.
