I mean honestly. As if you guys have never went and posted a question and not bothered to check it out because you where so carried away in the moment. I don't know why people love to point out the tiniest of mistakes to people who are just asking questions.

Because some people need to get a life! Seriously, don't worry about it. Just ignore them: they aren't worth the time it takes to fret about them.

Happy reading to you! :-)

Some are lackadaisical in their writing while others care less how their words appear to others. It is a broad spectrum from the juvenile in mentality to the overly mature in accomplishment.

And there are those that might ask why start a question with the words "How come . . ." I suppose glaring misspellings and typographical errors that fill these pages can become irritants to many, which then resorting to nitpicking to make a point is the next step.

Isn't this a wonderful way to dance around the bush? I seldom, if ever, get in too much of a hurry to post a reply, and because I enjoy the art and craft of writing, I try my best to write correctly. Others don't and I realize that.

I doubt that everyone jumps on you for making just one typographical error.

I could have written a much smaller retort, but that is the way with some writers. Think Hemingway.

Not for one typo, surely? I only pick on those questions that are so badly constructed and spelt, that it's almost impossible to understand the meaning. Funnily enough, they're usually about sex, so I presume the asker is usually typing with one hand.

yeah everyone gets in a hurry on A/Y! People feel the need to comment more than to the direct question (I'm guilty too)!

Actually it's " because you were so carried away in the moment"
not "because you where so carried away in the moment"

I am utterly disgusted in your terrible spelling!

lol only joking :p

It is because they like making you look stupid. And you could just use the little spell checker and solve the problem!
