There is little doubt but this Republican/Conservative strategy is based upon the concept that the vile Nazi Joseph Goebbels enunciated when he said that people will believe any LIE as long as it is told often enough and comes from a figure/position of authority.

A perfect example of just how well the Republicans have used this concept is in it's claim to the high ground on VALUES .

Not only is there absolutely NO data/information that supports the Republican/Conservative claim to hold the high ground on VALUES ,there is ample data to support the fact that Republicans/Conservatives manifest INFERIOR values .

Republicans/Conservatives claim that they hold the high ground on family values .In fact the FACTS ,the DATA shows clearly that Christian Conservative fundamentalist(who many claim control the Republican party) HAVE THE HIGHEST RATES OF DIVORCE THAN ANY OTHER GROUP INCLUDING ATHEISTS AND AGNOSTICS.

Data exists that also shows that the rate of STDs(sexually transmitted diseases) is higher in the Christian fundamentalist group than most others.Abortion in this group is NOT that different than in all other groups .
