i think they already are a "social norm" - fetishes have magazines, books, conferences and balls, tv shows, and HBO programing as well as "sex specialists" who give advice dedicated to fetishes of all types. not everyone has a particular fetish that someone else would but everyone has a "little something" i think.

Actually (and wiki; fetish, it uses this in the description) in the western culture we have a fetish! WE DON'T LIKE HAIRY FEMALES! Thats right its an regular accepted norm that if a lady don't shave, were not even going to try.
