howdy doody! Obviously, you think so as to ask the question. I answer it in this way. In any "entity" that we as humans embrace, there are set protocols that are in place, which have been molded by the fact that "change is constant. Mostly the negatives of any "entity" will be given more attention in its standing out from familiarity and acceptance where differences exist. Mostly, we are like sheep, in that the masses are led, they have always been led and will always be led. However, it is in the masses where majority lies, and where comfort also lives. When one of difference steps outside the attitude that I/we have accepted, it tends to place all from that sector into the box of our own dismay. Hence "Do muslims believe tolerance is a one way street?" My question to you would be, "Do you think the word "some" should preceed (in your query) "muslims"? The masses in there accepted faiths all teach "toerence"... Hopefully you find some satisfaction in this answer.

Do not even know what is the definition of tolerance?
When the dead Mummy was dead and buried was long gone with time.
Luke 9.60
Tickle them with ghostly stories.
May get one club to death for having fun?
Expose they were living in misery with total loss of IQ in kicking the butts of God at their own risk without being aware of their own creation in own backyards in messing up human lives of their own little ones, own children, own generation and children of all tribes of different community too.
Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49
What do you think?

You are an infidel (enemy) if you do not share their beliefs.
The danger lies in the potential call for members of the religion to eliminate all infidels.
Just imagine how many groups of peoples there are on this earth who believe they have all the answers, and those who do not share their beliefs are destined to a horrible hereafter.
This egocentric attitude of groups (both Muslim and not) can provide for our elimination from this planet.

I'm the one who has the answer:
There is no answer. We're in deep doo-doo due to these groups. "Live and let live" is not a principle grounded in all societies. It never has been. Self-righteousness surrounds us... Look at those in DC if you will, please.

It's the EXTREMISTS of ANY religion who think that tolerance is a one-way street. Remember the Spanish Inquisition? That wasn't a particularly good example of Christian tolerance.
I think the vast majority of people of every faith simply want to live in peace with their fellow humans, regardless of differences in belief. It's the extremists - Al Quaida for Muslims, the KKK for Christians, etc. who're the problem.
Don't lump everyone in with the worst 5% for their population.

It is kind of like US liberals: tolerance is promoted as long as it doesn't disagree with their beliefs.

We should encourage them to believe in the power and wisdom of God. If God is offended, let him murder people in his own name. He could have struck Ms Gibbons down, but did he? No. Because he wasn't offended.
