She is still in Sudan. It would daft to say anything else at this stage.
When she returns u may get a fuller more accurate picture.
I would guess that its only the hot heads out there yelling & hollering, and the normal people are o.k.

Oh, yes, indeed! It's the the general population that is the problem there, it's the religious fanatics that run everything that are the threat. And they have the power, not the general population. Never forget that they do NOT have the same freedoms and protections that you do. They are at the "mercy" of the fanatics, who are calling for the death penalty.

They are.
Exposing they were living in misery with communication problems like everyone else world-wide.
With misinterpretation, miscoomunication, communication failures and communication break-down.
Ever wonder how our creator created one new universal language and one speech in living words for the good of mankind in the creation of peace on earth goodwill to men?
Genesis 11.1
Ever wonder how the loss of peace on earth were created in kicking the butts of God with cheap-skate glory of ghostly kitchen's dialect with ghostly and deadly words from the graveyards of different ghostly ancestor's culture and custom in messing up human lives of the little ones.
Luke 9.55-56
When ghostly kitchen's dialect with ghostly and deadly words was past punishment of living human kind in kicking the butts of God in not honouring and worshiping God back in the past.
Genesis 11.6-9
Getting themselves kick on the butts as casualty of the dead Mummy in not worshiping God in climbing up the coconut trees and still look green with lost sense of direction and purpose of life with the betrayal of Judas.
Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49

I am certain that if she is under duress, as I suspect she is, she is wise enough to say the politically expedient thing in this situation.

what has happened to Gillian Gibbons should not have happened, but we should be thankful that she is being well treated.
