Seriously.. do presidents know what theyre talking about or are they all lost without a script..(some are with one right?)

Written speeches are one thing. Action is quite another. He doesn't try to snow anybody, he just does what's right. That's how he'll be judged, not by his public speaking efforts.

Yes they know what they are talking about, Do you think the President tells some speech writer to just write me a speech?
He gives advise and direction and tells the writer what he wants to talk about and how he feels about an issue.
And we all know that Bush is not a great orator. We've heard all the "Bushisms". Which proves he doesn't follow his cue cards well. and you could say he gets lost. But he knows what he means.

A good speech maker is sometimes a husband who cheats, giving a good speech is not always a good sign of a good person, president Bush has done an excellent job but he is not always ready for trick questions from the liberal media.

Well, he is a great President in my opinion who has staff writers that assist in his speeches. Every President have them.
