did anyone notice that and if so why is that?

like more of the femine type girls do them as opposed to say, softball,rugby,basketball,etc(NOT to say girls that do other sports are not also femenine)

I don't necessarily think the participation of girls in those types of activities mean they are girly-girl types. I think a lot of the time, they are signed up for those classes because that's what their mothers want for them. It's not really much different than what sports dads do to their sons.

"Girlygirls" don't do dance or gymnastics or even serious cheerleading (not including pep squad). The physical effort and mussed clothing doesn't seem worth it. Many young girls start out in such sports because they are pretty and parents see a benefit in them and then the girlygirls leave them when being a girlygirl begins to involve make up and manicures.

Why would I want to play softball when I have a body like mine? I must protect my assets to achieve the greatest earning potential in the future.
