the doctor didnt say anything about having to get my blood tests done at a specific time (mid cycle, late cycle, day 1, etc) i just wanted to make sure.

The thyroid tests (TSH-thyroid stimulating hormone), Free T4, fasting lipids, fasting glucose, fasting insulin levels can be done at any time during the cycle because those hormones are different from the estrogen levels.

I would recommend calling your doctor back as well and ask his nurse or to speak to the doctor themselves directly to ask for further clarification on when in the cycle (where applicable) the hormone levels should be taken.
