Being married means including your partner in decision making for the major stuff and I always do. In the little things I make my own but I'll tell him about it. Marriages only work well when there is open communication.

Yes I do, no kids, spouse, co-workers.........I have friends but they generally go along or think much the same as myself.
I try to be flexible......and get along. But if I'm not enjoying myself I will make tracks!!

I do what nieces and nephews want me to do, even the adult ones. They come up with some pretty fun ideas while visiting.
With friends and coworkers, sometimes I pass if I know it's just going to be another setting of too much drinking with blaring TVs everywhere, and just go home instead.
Anything Mom wants. She's 84 now and deserves her fun.
You know what? I don't know!

The only time you should be doing what others want you to do is when you're getting a paycheck for it. And even then, you have to draw clear boundaries about what's acceptable and what isn't.
When it comes to living your life, you have to do it according to your own needs and your own conscience. But you do sometimes have to compromise your wants to accommodate the needs of those you care about.

Neither. Generally I find myself doing what needs to be done. I don't want to do chores, and my kids could care less if they got done - but they've got to get done. What I struggle with is doing them cheerfully, cause I really don't like em - but if I'm grouchy about it, it seems to bleed over into everything else.

I have to consider everybody involved. I didn't always do so. I hurt people, and I've been hurt, too. What goes 'round, comes back around, ya know?
