So.. I bumped my head on this huge metal sign while walking down the street trying to get my gloves on. I was wearing this thick wool hat so when I hit my forehead I didn't get any lumps or redness, but the thing wiggled like crazy and my teeth knocked together and now I have a headache in the back of my head. So.. what I'm asking.. could this be because of the bumping and how can I fix it or prevent anything more serious prior or even without going to the dr's? thx

Take some painkillers then rest. If you have any of the following symptoms over the next 24 hours, call a doctor immediately: vomiting, blurred or disturbed vision, confusion or dizziness. If the headache persists, get checked by your doctor anyway. Hope you feel better soon.
