i think you are right about the first people to answer...and that makes me sad because it shows why young people, who happen to be gay, are suicidal in the first place. tolerance of other peoples differences would be a great start...accepting that we were not all born the same...and if we were what a boring world this would be

HOMOSEXUALS are not normal.
It's something to do with neurons in the brain not functioning properly. That might be where their suicidal tendencies come in.

If they were meant to be gay "god" would have created Adam and Steve! not Adam and Eve. Leave Nature to play It's role In whatever comes.

HOMOSEXUALS are not normal.
If it was normal to be homosexual, they would be able to reproduce. Hetrosexuality is the only way to sustain the population. If all the homosexuals were put on an island, they would die out that is why i said they are not normal. believe it or not I have nothing against it but it's still not a normal trait in a human being, just something that has happened. I know, gay people get treated differently which is sad, but I do not treat one person better than another regardless of race, religion, sexuality or anything else. Look at it from my point of view, the facts, not the sexist way you first thought I was on about !!
Sorry If i offended anyone by my answer.

"HOMOSEXUALS are not normal."

What the hell does that mean? What is "normal"? It doesn't harm anyone, and homosexuals are just as capable as heterosexuals of being happy. Wheres the problem?

I suppose some gay people who kill themselves could be made depressed because of the rampant homophobia in some places... but you can't assume that all gay people who kill themselves do so in relation to the fact they're gay.

They could be doing it for the same reasons as heterosexuals - for example, depression, which absolutely anyone is vulnerable to.

Become more aware of the problem. Homosexual or not, we're all human beings and it's terribly sad to see anyone in so much pain that they take their own life. We all need to be more accepting of their lifestyle as well as more caring about them as people.

By making it mandatory that all homophobic people must go to therapists so they can resolve their unfortunate mental disorder of homophobia. Homosexuals are living their lives as who they actually are. As a young person being so persecuted for being who you truly are is very difficult. Puberty and being young is hard enough without homophobic people shaming and judging you for who you are. Homo phobics (this includes parents) think they actually are right in being so judgmental and in believing their way is the only correct way to live. Can you say pathetic, or insecure in themselves. I believe, personally, that most homophobic people are that way because they know their own desires lead toward their own gender.
