If Player A hits the ball (over the net) and the Player B returns the ball without allowing it to bounce on his/her side who gets the point, or would they play continue? Who would get the point (or would the play continue) if the Player A hits the ball and it passes over the net but would have landed out of bounds if Player B returns it?

If player B hit the ball with it not bouncing, that is against the rules and the point would go to player A. If player A hits the ball and its going out but player B returns it, it depends. If the ball has not passed over any line in the air and player B hits it, it is player A's point. If the ball has passed a line in the air then it does not matter what player B does. The ball is dead and player B gets the point.

Player B gets the point, when the ball is on his/her side, and it
does not matter whether it bounced or not.
The key here is the ball already is on Player B side. Player B
has the right to play with the bounce (only one) or without it.

On the other hand, if the Player B crosses his racket over the net then player A gets the point.

If player b played the ball before it bounced player b would lose the point.
The official rule is if the player hits the ball before it bounces, even if it looks like its going out he loses the point.

For question 1.

If the ball does not bounce on the table, but it looks like it would have, then the play continues without taking off points.

For question 2.

If the ball looks like it will go out of bounds, and you do hit it, the play continues. But, if you use judgement, then you can catch the ball and call it an out if it looked like it would have gone out.
