It is a bedroom if it has a door, a closet and a window.

If it is simply a case of having two means to enter/exit the room and it otherwise qualifies (closet, etc.) than it's a bedroom.

If it is necessary to traverse the room to reach another bedroom or the only bathroom in a three bedroom house (or something similar), then it's not considered a bedroom.

Edit:

2 additional points:
Houses built prior to the 1950s (and the earlier, the more likely) often did not have closets. The function of a closet was served by a piece of furniture, i.e. an armoire or chifforobe.
Common sense and original intent dictate what's a bedroom in these older dwellings, assuming the room hasn't been otherwise compromised.

Bedrooms that are a pathway no longer retain privacy, a necessary attribute of a bedroom. An appraiser would likely note a design or alteration of this nature to be functional obsolesence and would not count it as a bedroom.

Depends on where the second door leads. If it's to a balcony, a closet, or a bathroom, it's a bedroom. If that door leads to ANOTHER bedroom which has no other means of entry, then the first one is NOT a bedroom. It's a hallway.

The other poster is correct, a bedroom must include a closet, a window and a door to the room.
