One of my ex boyfriends has been running in and out of my life for the past three years. And while we don't want to be with each other, there is a mutual understanding and love that I have not been able to experience with anyone else... not even with my last ex. But we are just wrong for each other... bring the worst out of each other that it is better for us to remain apart.

well friends always tend to run in than out of ur life.. but then u get new ones. Life just works that way. Someone people aroung u are good to keep others run as fast away as u can. Keep the good by you and the ones that hurt u away no matter how much u move them there is no point of letting them hurt you

Yes. A long time friend that turned into a romantic relationship after my divorce. He moved to the other side of the country but keeps trying to keep a long distance relationship alive by visiting every so often, calling and emailing.

Well not really, I keep my old friends, it seems to me the friends that know you the best are the most loyal! And when you are loyal you tend to stick around!
